Moyes not missing a strong buy

|

Has anyone seen Thilo?

Kehrer, 26, joined West Ham last summer for a fee in the region of £10m, making 38 appearances and was part of that wonderful Conference League winning run.

But since then, nothing.

Admittedly he had a brief run out late in the game against Bournemouth but has not appeared since.

The official line from the club is that he has a back niggle.

Having been bought by David Moyes it demonstrates the strength of the manager’s signings that he has not been missed.

For once we actually have strength in depth for his position and luckily we are not missing him at the moment.

But the success of any team is the quality of the squad, and he appears to come across as a team player. There was of course the usual transfer gossip about him returning to Germany via Bayern Munich, but nothing came of it.

He himself added that it could happen at some point!

Most pundits rate Kehrer highly, and from a shaky start last year he got better and better. He is however prone to the odd rush of blood to the head but he does possess real quality

I very much doubt that he is going anywhere soon.
