David Moyes has been talking to the press ahead of West Ham’s Monday night game against Premier League leaders Liverpool on Monday night.
The manager has revealed that he doesn’t know how long Ryan Fredericks will out for but admits he could require surgery or healing time as they wait further medical advice.
The Gaffer said he hoped that he would be back before the end of the season but he couldn’t guarantee that.
On Yarmolenko he said that the player is joining in some training sessions but not all of them and remains some way off from match fitness. There are no new injuries beyond Ryan Fredericks after the Manchester City defeat on Wednesday night.
Moyes repeated that he does not intend to rush Jarrod Bowen into action saying he doesn’t want to put pressure on him and that he is not quite ready yet.
On Pablo Fornals he said everyone was disappointed with the player exclusion but it was 23-year-old turn to sit Manchester City while hinting he would come back into the match day squad for Liverpool next week.
Never see so many negative and depressing comments! There will be no changes in management or owners this season so we just have to get on with it and hope our “united” support gets us over the line!!
Graham is right.
The only number that matters is where we sit in the table at the end of the season. Whether the owners should have replaced Pelle earlier, hired a non-Moyes, spent more, spent differently is moot.
Cheer them on, enjoy the bright periods of play and realize the EPL is two leagues, one for the rich and one for the rest.
You obviously don’t spend time and money travelling to away games and then turn up to see a team a team picked by this clown that has no chance of winning nor will show fight etc.. If you did you would not be making these kind of comments..
Moyes continued selection of perpetual failures Masuaku, Noble & Snodgrass is condemning us to relegation. I believe playing Bowen, Fornals & Haller means we use much more competent capable players in the relegation battle run in.
I can understand playing 5 at the back against Man City & Liverpool but not with Masuaku ( worst PL defender) & Noble ( who fails to track back with his opponents) who undermine the defensive efforts of others & Snodgrass ( nowwhere good enough for the PL).
Niko Kovac was my absolute best hope for this club. Look at the way Frankfurt played under him. They fought like hell and played a style that the Hammer fans would of appreciated and loved. No match or opponent was ever too much, respected but never feared. It’s like the owners looked at opta or played FIFA to see who else in Europe scored goals without ever watching Eintracht play. Because he has not received service or help with a strike partner. Oh well, we got Moyes and it shows
I’ll get off my soapbox now
Beginning to have serious reservations about MoyesHe will set up exactly the same against Liverpool and hope for the same damage limitations. The same problems are still there in midfield with the aged pairing of Noble and Snoddy and the attacking players sit on the bench till we are 2 or 3 down.At least go for it because that line up on Weds was timid to the point of embarrassment.
He Said it was Fornals turn to sit out at Manchester city?? how does that work out seeing as he has harldy played since the idiot took over as manager.
The bloke has totally no idea how to manage a football team if you ask me and should be gone ASAP.
As everyone has stated Fornals was reaching a good run of form when he took over and any manager worth his sorts would have realized that and played him.
Moyes out NOW!
You are 100% right ..
How can you and I see fornals was on good form and that idiot can’t ….
Looks to me like SABOTAGE.
Only way to say it .
I don’t earn anywhere near what a manager does and I can see the obvious .
I hope I’m wrong
We ain’t staying in this league! We’re gone….
I must admit I’m going to take a break from all of this as got more important things to think about..but Ive looked and looked at the fixtures and I can not see how we are going to Stay up ,I really cant…I think we are gone for sure…and rice and all the other half decent players will as well . Who would have thought after all the talk over the last few years we would be here…if we do go down we could do a Sunderland.. and go down again..I wonder if Sullivan will walk away then …sad sad times for this club, it really is falling apart …see you in a few .months…..poor old sully if we do go down he might only have 1 billion left ,how on earth will he survive 😂😂😂 and has brady got a clause of another raise if we do …a sympathy raise maybe,,you did try Karen so here take another half a million..👍😂😂😂
Way too late I am afraid, there is no way they will sack Moyes, he was the cheap option, and they will hang on and on, until the inevitable happens, then probably beg him to try and get us out of the championship, the man is inept, clear for most of us to see for a long time, but the blame for our demise rests squarely with the owners.
I fail to see the logic of busting a gut to sign the boy, knowing that he has been class all season, and knowing that we are in serious trouble and running out of games, only to “give him time to adjust”. Either he’s good enough to play or he isn’t, and when we need something inspirational that we don’t have at the moment (Antonio aside), then caution must be thrown to the wind. If we’re gonna go down, we may as well go down fighting, and if Bowen can provide some of that, play the boy!!
why is it every time I post a comment, I see the words
your comment is awaiting moderation!
That would be because your comment is awaiting moderation – like all others

Johnham is spot on !!

I really hoped and thought that Moyes was the answer this time around but the guy is totally clueless. Man city were our best chance due to their fixture list and he set us up to invite attack after attack.
Again another knee jerk cost affective reaction from the board getting Moyes back instead of trying to get us fighting again.
I think Moyes’s time is coming to an end. He is clueless as a manager and the owners will need to act very quickly if we are to stay in the PL. The team he selected on Monday was the worse team selection I have possibly ever seen. His continued trust in players like Noble and Snodgrass, his continued belief that Cresswell is a CB. It is just astounding. Lose the next two games and he has to go in my opinion. We have regressed under his stewardship. I believe at this stage we just need to appoint someone who can motivate the players and get the right team on the pitch. This is something Moyes has not been doing. Nolan is clueless too.
John, how do you get to the conclusion that Nolan is clueless? Based on what exactly?
Jonathan how can you say moyes keeps putting faith in noble and Snodgrass???? They are our best players … what drugs are you on …lol I need them ..
Noble and grass have been our best players unfortunately but why didn’t you mention masaku or why is he playing cresswell as a centre back …
Mate I agree with you on some points but hey where is fornal ? He was playing as good as noble and grass but now he hasn’t been in the squad …
Moyes is finished mate … finished.
They will no way sack him and when we go down he will be the one to try and get us back up so get used to it..
Clown 💩🤡🤡🤡
