Moyes on Kudos and Liverpool game

|
David Moyes has confirmed that Jarrod Bowen has a virus and is fifty fifty for the game at Liverpool.
Claret and Hugh confirmed the situation this morning and that the club will need to see how he goes on but we have already been told the No 20 is in light training today.

Moyes is changing things

It could well mean another outing for Mo Kudus if Jarrod can’t make it and Moyes has spoken of how pleased he was with the new boy’s performance last night against TSC.

He told the pre-match presser: “I’m pleased Mo has made a big impact for us already. He’s still getting used to us and we’re getting used to him, but he made a big contribution last night for us.”
He is of course well and truly pleased with James Ward-Prowse too declaring: “James has settled in brilliantly well.
“We felt he had a good chance of settling in quickly due to his Premier League experience, but bringing him in was always a chance to see if he could bring goals and assist to us.
He’s a Mark Noble-type player for us in many ways, in terms of what he brings to the team.”
Liverpool is a huge game in the current circumstances with Michail Antonio having described it as a six pointer earlier in the week and claiming we will finish above them.
If that’s to happen it probably needs to start on Sunday and Moyes is promising a huge game following the Man City showing.
He said: “Some teams have got ahead of Liverpool but Liverpool have pegged them back. It’s a big, hard game. The crowd and the stadium play a big role at Anfield.
“In recent years we’ve given them tough games and we’ll try to give them a good game on Sunday. We know we’re playing a good side and we want to show what we can do.”
