David Moyes insists the Hammers have not received a single bid for Declan Rice.
The Irons midfielder has continually been at the centre of transfer rumours, linking him with a potential move to either Manchester United or Chelsea.
The latter appear very interested in doing a deal for the England international but we have consistently reported that there has never been an offer tabled for the player.
And Moyes has now told the Daily Mail that there has not been an offer made for Rice, and that no potential bid would be entertained.
He said: “No bids. We wouldn’t be taking any, anyway. We’ve said all along he’s not for sale.”
The Hammers, of course, have been active this summer, bringing in Nayef Aguerd, Alphonse Areola, and Flynn Downes, but players have also left, including the likes of Mark Noble and Andriy Yarmolenko.
Rice, clearly, is absolutely not for sale, and we have reported previously that he has come to an agreement with the Hammers, agreeing to stay for one more season at least.
