Moyes on the Hammers future that never was!

OUT

David Moyes has again spoken about his attitude towards West Ham and what may or may not have happened had he been offered a permanent job with the club.

Moyes remains out of work following his stint at the London Stadium – surprising perhaps given the job he did at the Hammers in desperate circumstances.

He has said in the past that he would have been unsure of the outcome had the board offered him a deal and has chosen to speak out again in the Telegraph.

He’s reported as saying: “I don’t think we could have done any more than we did. We weren’t interested in talking about my future until we knew we had got them safe.

“David Sullivan was ok with that and that is what we agreed. But when we came to speak in the summer, it was clear they wanted to go with someone else.

Look, that’s fine, whether we would have taken the job if it was offered, is another matter…”
