Moyes plays selection game again

|

David Moyes again appears to be involved in the “smokes and mirrors” business as he prepares to welcome Newcastle to the London Stadium tomorrow (Sat).

As is the case with various managers, and certainly Moysie,  possible injuries are put into the mix ahead of games on a regular basis presumably to keep the opposition guessing.

It makes its own kind of sense but in reality it always comes down to how the players perform on the days as a team and is not an issue which probably affects outcomes too much.

Some will disagree.

Having made it clear he HOPES Kurt Zouma will be available – and our information is he is 80 per cent certain  at this stage – he then gets into the unmentionable injuries

He claims also that “we have a couple of knocks” adding he wouldn’t give anything away but that he needs to make sure “we can be ready for tomorrow.”

Well YES but there doesn’t seem much point in mentioning it at all if he doesn’t want to give anything away! Really not sure this procedure works.

I guess one  of those with knocks will be Craig Dawson who has been playing with small injuries for weeks. As for the others I expect no changes .

Smokes and mirrors press day as ever 🙂
