Moyes refuses to talk about Kane

|

David Moyes has refused to discuss reports that Harry Kane wants out of Spurs this summer.

The question was asked by reporters on Tuesday lunchtime at the virtual pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday game against the Baggies.

The 58-year-old manager said “Nothing to do with me, not my club. He is a very good player but it is nothing to do with me and I would never speculate on players from another club I don’t think you should do that.”

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is under fire from his own supporters, first was the move to sign up to the doomed European Super League breakaway was the final straw, then the sacking of Jose without a replacement and go the Spurs captain saying he wants out.

Spurs could get miss out on European qualification and West Ham can finish above them this season.

Levy is feeling the pressure with the recent protests outside their new stadium and the way that #LevyOut has trended on Twitter.

Maybe Harry Kane would be better off in joining David Moyes West Ham revolution next season 😉

I think that it was a stupid question – like the interview that I just saw on Sky Sports where they asked Harry Winks if he wanted to play well to give Harry Kane a good send off

There is no way that we could afford him – so Moyes is absolutely correct not to talk about him

The silly season is truly upon us

In a way I enjoy Moyes not giving anything away – it really frustrates lazy journos

The current talk is about Man U or Man C and Lingard. That leaves Chelsea , Leicester and Liverpool in England and umpteen European teams.

For the cash manure are talking about for lingard forget it nearly 29 and get in periarah spelt wrong I know so tasty

Kane has been loyal to the Spurs served them well. If he wants to move on then I can only wish him the best.

  • Ray says:

Kane wants Champions League football next season, not Chumpions League! Dream on.

Think he’d have to put in a formal transfer request first and foremost. We definitely wouldn’t be the only club interested. BTW they can’t have Rice.

    • Razorwine says:

Rice would never go there anyway only Chelsea or city if he left London or Barca eventually .
