Moyes remarkable Hammers
Our run in European competition at West Ham has been nothing short of remarkable. As the saying goes, ‘one never notices small change,’ and that definitely applies here. The undefeated record is truly incredible, but equally astounding is the fact that we’ve participated in continental competition for three consecutive seasons. I have to give most of the credit to David Moyes, who has seamlessly adapted to the challenges of European football.
Over the years, I’ve been critical of Moyes, but this current run of form is beyond expectations. Moyes has built a Hammers team that’s a force to be reckoned with. We’re incredibly tough to defeat, displaying great physicality, tactical awareness, and a knack for capitalizing on set-plays. These qualities are reminiscent of the successful traits seen in many thriving European teams.
In short, West Ham are a pain in the backside to play against. We can be as cynical as we can skilful, which is certainly not The West Ham Way. However it is a blend that has served us well during this amazing and unprecedented run of European form.
