Moyes responsible for getting Pablo Fornals fee

Moyes responsible for getting Pablo Fornals fee

David Moyes is responsible for getting a Pablo Fornals fee with the club having triggered the player’s one year contract option. After all that was the only purpose in making sure he remained at the club.

Moyes responsible for getting decent Fornals fee

The player arrived that the London Stadium in 2019 for around £25 million and has served us well over those four years but has become very much a fringe player under the manager which may not have gone down well with many fans. However, the reality now is that if the club are going to get the £10-£12 million they are hoping for in the summer window he will need games to show what he has got – a loss of around £13 million at best anyway!

We have seen him appearing only as as sub for a few minutes over games this season and that’s hardly going to impress any clubs that may be considering a bid.

I remember  the late and sorely missed David Gold making much the same point of various players when he was joint chairman and Moyes too will know the importance of getting a fee that confirms the player’s value with the likes of Seville allegedly interested in the 27 year old Spanish attacking midfielder.

Over to you Moyes!

Not sure i really undersrand an article like this but extending a contract in this scenario was a business decision. Moyes has cost the club 10s of millions in poor transfer dealings and devaluing players by his inept management. I would be fairly his input was minimal if any. In any case pablo will be here long after moyes is booted out so i would not be too worried about all this type of press..
