Moyes reveals his summer transfer policy

|

Many of the players who are already being linked to the Hammers this summer are British and play in domestic leagues.

Now David Moyes has explained where he may be going in the transfer window if he can find the players he wants.

Speaking to reporters he said: “The first thing I’d say, and you are part of it, don’t listen to all of the names getting thrown out there, that is for sure.

If you wanted to start now and write them all down by the time we get back here  on August 31st, you’ll have to have cut down about three trees for how many you’ll have to put on it.

I would say yes, I think I would like to add more a little bit more of British players or homegrown players if we possibly could. I wouldn’t set out to take one of them if I saw something better or I thought there was a better alternative.

We are trying to find value? . I don’t see us being huge spenders. I don’t really think that will be the situation this year. Where we can and where we need to add to the squad, then we will do so.”
