Moyes reveals injury problems

David Moyes has revealed the reason why four players were missing from action this afternoon.

Speaking to reporters post-match the manager explained Alex Kral has tested positive for COVID following International duty and will now be forced to isolate.

Captain Mark Noble is suffering from a small knock to his hip but it is said not to be too serious and he is expected to recover quickly.

The manager added that Vladimir Coufal is being treated with injections for his groin injury after sustaining an injury against Manchester United.

Ryan Fredericks is still recovering from his own groin injury and needs to regain his match fitness.

The gaffer also revealed that Tomas Soucek is getting stitches in his lip which worries him more than the other injuries within his squad.

With three more games in the next ten days, Moyes will be waiting to get as many players fit as soon as possible to give him cover.
