Moyes set to face recruitment change

|

David Moyes Is likely to face changes to his recruitment policy this summer!

The manager insisted that he and a head of recruitment Rob Newman were permitted to run things in that area when appointed.

However, it has become known the club have become very concerned at some signings and have  little trust in the head of recruitment and the manager in identifying transfer targets after a poor return on their investment over the past two years.

This of course could lead to a showdown over control over transfer funds with the board taking a far more active role in the identification and approval of any future signings.

There remains a big doubt as to whether Gianluca Scamacca will remain at the club although Nayef Aguerd is seen as a good signing whilst the jury is out on Emerson, Downes, Kehrer and Ings.

Quite how a change of recruitment system will go down with Moyes and Newman must remain to be seen.

I second that Pete and while we are at it take head of recruitment Rob Newman with him.

We should keep Emerson, Downes, Kehrer and Ings. We just need a manager who can play them correctly! No point in throwing good money after bad.
