Nikola Vlasic looks set to prove a point against his previous club Everton when the two sides clash at the London Stadium tomorrow.

Much will depend on whether boss Davis Moyes decides to rest Manu Lanzini after his dramatic week and assuming that Jarrod Bowen remains unfit for the game.

Said Benrahma looks certain to start and Vlasic could join him as the Irons go looking for the goals to shoot them back into the top six.

Vlasic spent three seasons at Goodison Park  having made 12 Premier League appearances for the Toffees before joining CSKA Moscow on loan for the 2018/19 season, making the move permanent the following summer after becoming something of a Toffees outcast.

David Moyes gives very little away in terms of team selection and this weekend is no exception with no clear indication on whether either Lanzini or Bowen will be available.

But it’s very possible that Moyes will see this as a match anyway which will appeal to Vlasic’s insticmts against a club where he was given few chances to prove his worth.

Our gjueess is we will look something like this from the start: Fabianski; Johnson, Dawson, Zouma Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Benrahma, Fornals, Vlasic, Antonio
