Moyes set to resolve Antonio question

David Moyes is set to resolve the question about Antonio’s fitness during tomorrow morning’s pre match press conference ahead of the Hammers visit to Anfield to face Liverpool.

The winger cum striker has been instrumental scoring eleven goals in fifteen games for West Ham since project restart but has been substituted off in the last two games suffering from a tight hamstring which the manager initially thought was cramp.

After the Manchester City draw the manager said Antonio would need to be fully medically check and scanned after admitting he came off against Spurs with something very similar.  Moyes told reporters that Antonio is so important to team so he wants to be really ultra careful.

There has been much speculation in the news and social media as to whether the 30-year-old will be fit or not for the weekend but the manager will set the record straight at 9am on Friday during his virtual press conference with the media.

  1. It’s a problem we have had for a while now ,,such a shame we didn’t do anything about it…we cant rely on Antonio all the time…should really have 3 strikers especially as Moyes Dosnt like haller…king would of been ideal back up..especially at the price they wanted or around it ..might struggle to get him when his contacts out assets will be after him, that’s if he isn’t to greedy ..

  2. Antonio is one heck of a player for us and will be sorely missed if not able to play on Saturday.

He never stops trying and that is why he is so adored at West Ham

  3. I think Haller should be given the chance , how can he prove himself when Moyes don’t play him. I really think he has something to offer . Is there friction between them ? I hope not as the team look happy and are playing well , long may it last ⚒

    • I think it’s quite a simple thing mark ..he just Dosnt work hard enough..he has potential for sure..but his work rate is terrible…maybe he isn’t happy or something..but you know how yo get adored by hammers fans and thats putting shifts in

  4. After seeing his team mates putting in great shifts it might just inspire him ( Haller ) to crank up his game . I think it might just well do , here’s hoping anyway . Maybe we’ll see Benrahma get some valuable playing time because after all he’ll have to be played at some stage .
Liverpool can be beaten without Antonio , it’s just a question of full on effort and desire to win and application .
