Moyes sticks with winning formula

David Moyes has stuck with the same team that beat Leciester City 3-0 to start against Spurs at 4.30 pm in North London this afternoon.

The manager had one new addition in the form of Craig Dawson available for the first time following his loan switch from Watford with Saïd Benrahma joining too late to be registered for Sunday’s game. Ryan Fredericks has returned from injury while Issa Diop is match fit again following his bout of CoVid.

Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal, Angelo Ogbonna, Andriy Yarmolenko, Fabian Balbuena and Lukasz Fabianski have all returned from international duty too without injury. Moyes is often a creature of habit and likes to stick with a winning team so today’s line-up is no great surprise.

Claret and Hugh predicted as much on Saturday with our own predicted line-up and our Peoples Choice poll also picked the same starting XI.

West Ham Starting XI  Fabianksi, Cresswell, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Coufal, Rice, Soucek, Masuaku, Fornals, Bowen, Antonio

Subs: Randolph, Fredericks, Diop, Noble, Snodgrass, Lanzini, Yarmolenko
