Moyes talks Chicharito’s future

javier-hernandez-chicharito-west-ham-united_1odvooapufqa71imqno5ljei2tDavid Moyes wants Chicharito to stay at West Ham but admits: “money talks.”

With Marko Arnautovich and Manu Lanzini both facing time on the sidelines with injury Little Pea’s time may have arrived.

Moyes want the player to stay at the club but cautions: “Will he definitely stay? I’d like to think so, yeah. It would need to take something…

“If you asked ‘Would Paul Pogba definitely stay with Man United?’, if Real Madrid came in with £500 million, then he probably wouldn’t, so money would always be the talker. At the moment, no-one has made an offer, as far as I know anyway.”
“I keep saying this all the time to players, that sometimes they think they’re not in, then they’ll be in and it’s up to them to take their chances when they get them.

“Chicharito has played some games for us and he came on on Saturday and made a difference. Chicharito can do that. You can’t question the club’s he has played for, as you don’t play for Man United, Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen if you’re not a good player.”

With only one goalscorer left standing at the club even if a massive bid came in for him the owners would not even think about it- they would trouser the dosh like a shot lol.

Yet another season is descending into a shambles. The last few weeks have been about the only decent period at this club in the last two years, so obviously it could not last.

Would hope is our 2nd top scorer w 5 PL goals.
Unless have another CF lined up be mad to sell him.

And Ayew is getting bigeer bids but he doesn’t want to leave Chic does. Think must be some bad history w him & Moyes.
We should of been planning knew squad was thin & knew Jan window was crucial other clubs around already have 2 in & they have full squads we end up buying last min again & then prices can rise a things happen

He needs to play more simple as that and has to stay now.Would not lose any sleep if Ayew and Sakho went but we definately need to buy another striker whatever happens. As usual its all going into panic stations and last minute buys whilst everyone else seems to be doing it nice and cool.

West Ham don’t and can’t play the system of football that suits Hernandez . It wasn’t Moyes that signed him and he wasn’t number one at Man Utd . We are not Barcelona and never will be . The tickky tackky style is not how we play the game in GB . City are trying with Guardiola but it is doomed to failure eventually . England as a footballing nation has crumbled internally and getting worse everyday because we want to play like continentals .
For a player like Hernandez it needs a different style ,,,,, that’s why he went to Madrid ., but he wasn’t good enough for them . Too lightweight . We can all ooh and argh at them teams but it’s just not us . It wasn’t us when we won the World Cup and came close to winning two more . These players that want to play in the Prem is a problem .

Why do people keep mentioning panic and that we’re panic buying? I’ve seen no sign of panic and unless I’ve missed something we’ve bought no one.The only players we look like we’re in for are the same ones that have been mooted all through this window. Seems the only people panicking are the people that claim we’re panicking. COYI.
