David Moyes admits that the Hammers have somewhat struggled with the fact that they have had precious little preparation time for games this season.
The Irons have been playing in the Europa League this season, something that the Irons did not need to contend with last term.
The Hammers face Brighton in midweek, having lost to Manchester City at the weekend. Prior to that, the Hammers lost to Wolves in the league and beat Rapid Vienna in the Europa League.
And Moyes admits that the club have found it hard to deal with the lack of prep time ahead of games this season.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the clash with Brighton, he said: “It’s not been easy because this is new. Last year we had preparation time, we had lead in time to the games and I think this week would be the same for lots of clubs.
“We did not have much lead in for Man City and City the same. But going into Brighton they will be the same as us, it is changing because we quite often not had time to prep players with the days off as it has been a quick turnaround.”
