David Moyes wants to continue to build a young, hungry squad at West Ham, according to football journalist Paul Brown.
Brown told GIVEMESPORT: “Moyes has said over and over again in public and in private to us that he’s trying to build a younger, hungrier side that can grow.”
While Angelo Ogbonna, Michail Antonio, Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble, Craig Dawson, Darren Randolph, David Martin, Andriy Yarmolenko and Fabianski have done great for the Hammers Moyes wants to add more players in their twenties to build the next generation of Hammers.
Ben Johnson has already stepped up from the Academy and perhaps one or two more can join him but Moyes with Rob Newham help will be scouring the leagues across the world looking for young, hungry players who can fit into Moyes future plans reducing the average age of the squad even lower.
The 58-year-old manager is laying foundations for a West Ham team that will be around for many years to come.
We are truly at the start of something that feels very special indeed.
