Moyes tracks summer targets

David Moyes is set to return to his winter midfield targets once he has signed a new deal with the Irons at the end of the season.

And that will mean the end of the road for Pedro Obiang who despite being injured currently remains very much on Firontina’s website.

The Serie A outfit want Obiang as a replacement for Croatian star Milan Badelj’s who is set to exit the club on a free transfer.

Moyes, meanwhile, is set to move in on at least two of his early targets as he bids to strengthen a Hammers midfield which has been his priority since arriving at the club and has been monitoring them throughout January and February.

Stoke’s Joe Allen is very much on Moyes’ mind particularly if – as looks likely – the club slip into the Championship.

Fulham’s Tom Cairney and Bournemouth’s Harry Arter along with Anderlecht star  midfielder Leander Dendoncker are also on his wanted list.

The manager is also keen to strengthen at the back with West Brom’s Jonny Evans and Bournemouth’s Alfie Mawson among his various targets.

  1. Mawson from Bournemouth would be difficult basil ? 😁
I can’t see sully spending 130-150 mill! On 6 players ? We need to add 2 attacking full backs to the list as well if a 3-5-2 is to be used ! Depth needs addressing but I can’t see it happening
All at once if at all ! Until it happens I’m not convinced it will ? there’s talk on the streets that carvhalo is being linked again ? All this is best left until the end of the season and concentrate on survival . 😉

    • Its all spin from the club laz we had a terrible window were the owners made Money instead of spending like they promised and we hardly herd anything from them ..now its shut they have Target’s everywhere to get us all on board again ..we have learned in the las 3 Windows that they wont spend what’s needed.. They are full of sh!! And are saying these things to get bums on seats …we could oif bought this player for a lot less than we can in the Summer… I’ve lost total faith in them and pray they vwill sell and move on but that’s wishful thinking as they are stripping the club down to line their pockets….
