Moyes’ WBA team selection decisions look simple

David Moyes is unlikely to make changes for the game against Sam Allardyce’s  West Brom visit to the London Stadium on Tuesday night.

It will be the Irons second game in four days and the Baggies will arrive on the back of a confidence boosing 2-3 win at Wolves.

But he will be reluctant to go against the normal philosophy of changing a winning team and will probably wait until the next game – an FA Cup clash against Doncaster Rovers at the weekend to rest players

The Baggies will be without Grady Diangana who will be disappointed to miss out on a trip to his former club after sustaining a groin injury.

The Baggies have other significant absences with keeper Sam Johnstone, testing positive for Covid, along with winger Matt Phillips.

However, Robert Snodgrass is set to play only his second game for Albion since leaving after taking part in his new team’s win at Molineux.

  1. I would agree, I would expect pretty much the same team but most importantly if there are changes most importantly we must take the game to West Brom with the same positive selection as against Burnley. We need to keep the run going and with West Brom buzzing.it will be another tough game. Great to hear that we are looking at signings. we need a few top class players in and I keep thinking Sarr, if not the Hertha Berlin striker too on loan with a view to buy. Perhaps a CM with a player going out and LWB on loan too. I would certainly be looking at making changes for the Cup game but not this game.

  2. Don’t think we should buy the Sarr fellow. It would be another one of those expensive waste of money signings we’ve made too often the last few years since the Last thing we need is another winger.
