Moyes: We are due a bit of Lady Luck

David Moyes insists that West Ham were due some luck as they prepare for the FA Cup fourth round clash with Kidderminster!

The Hammers have had some stinking cup draws this season, playing against Manchester United, Manchester City, Spurs and Leeds in the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup.

This weekend, though, they go up against a non-league side, playing against Kidderminster for the first time since 1994.

Although he believes that there is a different kind of challenge that comes with playing a minnow.

He told reporters: “I was thinking at the start of the season ‘my goodness, some of the cup draws we’ve been getting’. They’ve been really tough. This is tough in a different way.

“We’ll go into the game as favourites, most people will be rooting for the underdogs because of the way this cup competition goes. We have to be professional and get the job done. I hope we can get a bit of luck. Might need it on the way through. And if we can, who knows?”
