Moyes zero tolerance policy gets respect

|

Moyes3David Moyes has made it clear throughout the club that he has a zero tolerance policy towards the leaking of team news ahead of games.

He has been making it clear that this is one of the most unhelpful problem in the social media age and that he intends cracking down hard on anybody he finds handing out news to contacts.

Other managers have been more relaxed about the situation and as a result ClaretandHugh has had no issues about bringing the team selection news we have received.

However, given the new manager’s attitude we have no wish to rock the boat by handing out information which he believes can only help the opposition.

The only reason any website or newspaper hands out such news is to demonstrate how ‘on the ball they are’ and that really isn’t a good enough reason if the manager believes it could affect the outcome of games.

We trust you will understand our position and will rely solely on the club to release the team news the usual hour before the game.

Oh dear – I hope that doesn’t effect the quality of news we read here as that’s usually from sources within the club. Worrying times indeed. COYI

No. This shows just how professional Moysee is and how determined he is for us to move onwards and upwards. Top class.
