Moyesie reckons he and Klopp are alike in just one respect

Tomorrow’s game could present us with a classic victory we are hoping for or it could be a game which puts us in our place.

One thing is for sure it will be a game between two bosses at the top pf their games and both in the running for manager of the month.

David Moyes is back to his best and probably in advance of it – and maybe, as we have said before, the manager Alex Ferguson expected him to be when he arrived at Old Trafford.

His achievements have of course been phenomenal since his return to the London Stadium but Klopp has been at the top of his particular tree for a long time.

And he brings his Reds to the east end looking to remain undefeated in a season which again sees them already as serious Title challengers and sitting in second place behind Chelsea.

I loved David Motes’ comment on the pair when he said in his press conference: “If you ask me for similarities between Jürgen Klopp and myself, he was a centre-half and I’m a centre-half, but I think that was it!

What I do know is that Jürgen is very competitive, he wants to win and puts a lot of demands on his players.

As a manager of another team, I’m trying to do the same, I put big demands on my players and I want to win as well.

I want to give them a much better game than we gave them last year at London Stadium. I want to show we’ve moved on again and I think we’re in a much better place.

We know Liverpool will rise to the challenge, whatever team is put in front of them because they have done for several years now, so we know how tough a game it’s going to be.”
