Moyesie so pleased with this Iron

Manu Lanzini hasĀ  become a different player this season according to David Moyes.

The manager has clearly been impressed with the Argentine over recent weeks as he has once again become a regular starter.

And it has been clear to most that whilst the moments of magic maybe less than previously the midfielder is working his socks out for the team – a scenario demanded by the manager of all his players.

Moyesie claims its down to his injury that his game has changed but we believe it’s the tutelage he has received under the boss that is as responsible for the change as anything else.

However, gifted as a creative force players may be that in itself is not enough for a boss who believes that high energy and athleticism is the key to success and that appears to be the case with Manu.

Speaking to reporters the manager said: “His injury has changed the way he plays for us, he is more of all round footballer now. He has matured as a person and for our team he has made a big difference.”

He also believes that Tomas Soucek is coming right back to his best declaring: “Everybody who watches us regularly, know he has been good for us for two years.

If you look at the England squad, Declan was probably the best player. Tomas has taken a while to get back into things after coming back from the Euros and I think that is the case with a lot of players who played in the tournament.”

Despite the Spurs disappointment the manager said: “Overall we know we are doing a really good job, keeping the players fit is key. To be a big club you need to be playing in big games. It has been a really busy season and the players deserve a good rest at the end.”
