Moyesie unworried by Klopp Bowen admiration

|

David Moyes is unconcerned about the high praise that Jurgen Klopp has been delivering in the direction of Jarrod Bowen,

That has led to fears among many that the Liverpool manager could come in with a bid for the player in the next window.
It also means that the Reds will be paying very special attention to the player at Anfield as we bid to complete a double over the second placed team.
Moyes has no serious concerns about the admiration of Klopp for Jarrod, telling reporters: “You hear Jurgen Klopp compliment Jarrod very highly so that gives you an idea that they will be thinking about him and how they want to deal with him.
I think all Jurgen Klopp is doing is  complementing one of our players who is playing really well and he’s mentioned it. I see I see a lot of players at clubs who are playing really well. I don’t always say it but Jurgen has, and I don’t see it as a problem.”
Moyes admits the media plays its part when a player is scoring goals saying: “I think that what comes from scoring more goals is more attention from from the media, and also more attention from defenders and different people we’re going to look at you and play you differently.
So when you get into that situation as a player, then you have to be able to step up with it as well. You have to join in, you have to show that I can find other ways of you know, being competitive in the game to get yourself a chance to get a goal and to make chances for other players. S
I think it’s a challenge but I think Jarrod’s growing sort of year on year at the moment. But again, he’s got to keep progressing. He’s got to keep going again if he wants to get to that level.”
