Moysie attracts another big time admirer

Moyes likely to name strongest team

Gary Lineker is the latest big name to praise David Moyes to the skies.

The MOTD presenter tweeted his huge admiration for the Hammers boss as the squad move to within touching distance of Lineker’s Leicester City.

The Hammers boss  – in running for the Manager of the month award – has clearly accomplished his first priority in his return to big name management.

He made it clear early that he needed to restore a reputation which suffered at Manchester United, Sunderland and Real Sociedad.

He has more than done that and will be heading for an improved and extended contrat at the hammers come the end of the season.

Moyes, on BBC – along with R fio Ferdinand on BT Sport – believes the man has achieved something truly special at the London Stadium.

He tweeted: “Might be for a brief period but @WestHam move into the top 4. What a brilliant job David Moyes is doing.

The Hammers hit number 4 for a brief period of time but Chelsea took over once they  eat Newcastle  2-0 .

West Ham were awarded their first penalty this season, Declan Rice scored it putting us up 1-0 in the 41st minute.

Lineker couldn’t believe that stat and also praised Rice for his clinical finish from 12 yards.

“Remarkable that @_DeclanRice’s penalty was the first @WestHam have had this season. A Rice cracker.”

Europa League is starting to look very doable for the Hammers if they stay inform.
