Moysie’s kids make life more comfortable for Burnley

David Moyes has been on something of a mission impossible over the first few months of the season.

The manager has been attempting tp provide sufficient training time for Premier League matches whilst advancing through Europe.

However, with the youngsters stepping up gave him a better opportunity tp prepare for the match at Turf Moor and he has been telling reporters how he and the squad have tried to cope with the dual responsibilities they face.

He told them: “We we have done this as much as we can through the whole competition. We have tried to make it as close to a normal week as we possibly can but it is not that easy because if you are traveling away how can you do it when you are away on Wednesday etc.

But we have generally tried to keep the group training, keep them improving, and keep them as fit as we can.
We have been able to do it a little bit more for this game because we used so few players from the Premier League XI]. So hopefully we have them fresh and ready for Burnley.”
