West Ham have made multiple transfer bids for players, according to a top source at the club.
Speaking to C&H, a top source also admitted there are negotiations with Manchester United for Wan-Bissaka, although the former Palace star is on ‘top money.’ When asked if AWB was the Hammers’ only target, we were informed that he was ‘one of many RBs we’re trying for.’
Man United are close to completing the transfer of former West Ham target Noussair Mazraoui which should speed up the negotiations for Wan-Bissaka who knows his days are numbered at Old Trafford.
The source was also happy to confirm that there have been multiple bids for players as the club looks to move quickly in the transfer market.
Despite the comments of a few days ago, the club is still negotiating with Aston Villa for Jhon Duran, who remains the club’s top target as a striker. West Ham also remains in the market for a central defender, although unsurprisingly, there have been no bids for Kurt Zouma.
Why can’t we just sign players like even Ipswich have maged to do.
Speak to the player first and if he isn’t interested in joining the Irons then it’s his loss, so move on.
Smacks of poor negotiating skills.
We need at least 5 more top players, look where we are compared to Villa. I know which squad I would rather have.
Pull your finger out directors.
I think other clubs are now wise to West Ham’s transfer games… 1st bid very very low… 2nd bid a bit higher…. 3rd and ‘final bid a liitle bit higher but nowhere near the asking price… and then total shock that the selling club still say no. We need to go in initially at a fair’ish’ price with one more tweaked bid if necessary (with a deadline) and if that doesn’t work we should move on.
So we keep hearing…but all way below the valuation as usual…get the panic scatter gin out …ffs …..3 weeks to go .and we look a mess already
I think our transfer strategy is absolutely ingenious, we go after and name over 100 targets and sign none, this has an unsettling affect on all those clubs concerned, the players become unsettled this causes unrest amongst the players at those clubs, and leaving West ham to mop up the Premier league title, oops sorry folks I think I drifted off to sullivan fantasy land for a moment there.
Why don’t we go for Summerville who can double up as a striker and left winger and alternate with the Brazilian kid?
There 2 pelicans with one stone.
West Ham will end of paying what Villa wanted for Dhuran all along plus a tax for taking the pi** over negotiation tactics. There’s no knowing about the layers of negotiations between the clubs and Steidten, agents and Sullivan but I’ve good idea of where these negotiations have gone wrong.
Villa only want so much because they need the cash for João Felix. They know he’s not worth it, when Wear Ham go elsewhere they’re going to find they’ve shot themselves in the leg.
No sale, no money coming in, risks of breaking FPP and an unhappy player, not getting game time who no longer wants to be there.
Sounds like there doing a great job… Idiots…
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks like we are still in for AWB and also KWP. So maybe it’s a financial choice with Julens preference?? Good.
Meanwhile, we must not overpay for Duran, he has no pedigree for a big money spend.
If we can get a CF and a CB plus one of those two above then not bad.
Scattergun aporoach!
Got to make sure we don’t hit the panic button just yet and start overpaying for players. With the strictness of the FFP/PSR rules, everyone is in the same situation and whoever holds their nerve longest will come out of this transfer market strongest. It would be different if we just needed 1 more player, but we need more than that and with JLo implementing a new style and integrating new players, it is going to take time, so this season we can not afford any point deductions or could be in some real trouble.
At last, somebody who understands the new reality of PSR.
We have the highest revenue outside of the big six so we have a bit more flexibility than most, but we are hamstrung by needing so many players in.
Other clubs are holding out for top dollar but they need to move players on if they want to spend too. As time progresses they need to move players on more and more, especially ones on short contracts.
Until fans do understand the new realities of PSR there’s going to be a hell of a lot of nonsense spouted.
Sounds like we are closer to signing wan bissaker than Duran. Then I guess if we get wan the man, we then have to inform multiple right backs that we no longer want them. Sorry for messing you about but we’ve now signed wan bissaker so you’ll have to go somewhere else.
Closer to sign a defender who states he doesn’t want to join West Ham ?
Multiple bids, working hard, trying to get some over the line, it’s difficult!!
Stop taking us for idiots Sully
We’re utterly attuned to you
please, John, don’t be rude..MT
Westham t won’t get villa man if they don’t cough up money just do he will go to another club I hope Westham can’t sell the player which kick the cat
Zzzzzzz
“Speaking to C&H, a top source also admitted there are negotiations with Manchester United for Wan-Bissaka, although the former Palace star is on ‘top money.’”
There’s the managing expectations bit. This one will be off by the end of the day I reckon.
Talk is cheap sully springs to mind cheap minded only interested in himself not a true hammers supporter just money and profit gskbl out
Have to agree if we really want. A player. pay the money. Don’t faff about making. Low ball offers. Get jhon and awb deals done
This transfer window is becoming a nightmare typical West Ham a lot of talk about who we are trying to sign but not much action it’s clear that Aston Villa won’t accept the low offers made for Duran if we truly want him at West Ham then cut the chat and get the deal done all this backwards and forwards with offers seems like a ploy the club look like they are trying to sign certain players but the truth looks a lot different Tim steindten is doing what he can to get deals done but if a player flatly refuses to join us then he’s flogging a dead horse. He has been responsible for bringing top quality players to the club he has nothing to reproach himself for without him kudus along with a few others would not be at our club he has done a lot for us and I’m sure he will continue to do so
