Murphy: “West Ham will let Sam go”

|

Murphy1_2815904Danny Murphy his delivered the worst kept secret to talkSPORT- the West Ham will let Sam Allardyce ‘walk’ in the summer.

He said: “I think West Ham have already made their mind up with him (Allardyce) – I just think if they were going to offer him something, they would have done it by now.”

And the Mail are now saying precisely the same declaring that he will be gone claiming “there is no way back” for him even if he can spark a good run of form before the end of the season.

Oh no,what will we do now, without Sams stability, surely the club will be on its knees within a season. No one can fill his Sophisticated boots can they.Dark days lay ahead without him.I predict a slide down to The Conference if he goes.West Ham without him are doomed,a man who can deliver 1 win in 12 is a guy we should be offering a two year deal to isnt it.This could be a terrible decision from the board, what are they thinking of 😉

  • IronsAndJags says:

If we are going to let him go, we should let him go now. We have 39 points, which will likely make us safe this season. So it makes sense to me to get the new manager in now, without the pressure of worrying about staying up. The new manager would then have a bunch of games so he can look over the squad and see what he needs in the summer. I see no point waiting until the end of the season, if the change is going to be made.

    • PennsylvaniaHammer says:

Well said. And isn’t it sad that we are talking about ‘being safe’ rather than, as expected earlier in the season, ‘getting into Europe’.

I’ve been thinking and I wondered why some people insist on supporting BFS cause.

    – Developement of home grown players: 0
    – Entertainement capabilities: 0
    – Trophies he won during his long career (Premier League, FA Cup, Capital One Cup, International cups): 0
    – Reached finals during his long career (FA Cup, Capital One Cup, International cups): 0
    – Capacity to change a match in progress: 0
    – Salary: 13th highest in the world
    – Arrogance: 1.000.000

    I still do not understand…

It is obvious why,we here it a million times on here.
    1) He brings stability before we move to the OS
    2) It is better the devil you know
    3) You must be careful what you wish for if he goes
4)Muppets believe in his self promotion- a form of brainwashing
5)Stability before we move to the OS
6)Stability before we move to the OS
7)Stabilty before we move to the OS
Oh sorry,i said that one up at the top,i have just seen it so many times now it haunts my dreams 😀

aahahaha, sorry Tyson, I forgot the key word… STABILITY. I’ll do a tattoo…

  • TysonM says:

Haha,He is going to go down in history as the wealthiest manager never to win anything, never take a team to a major cup final or never come close to winning the league or wanted by a major team. But fair play, his self promotion has got him a nice living out of being average 😉

  • rads the modern man says:

To be fair to the man he did win the 3rd division title with Notts County in 97/98 & had an excellant win ratio with blackburn & newcastle of 34% & 33%,we were getting a man of pedigree when we appointed him 😀

  • mattefumi69 says:

Ahah… Sorry rads I forgot that prestigious trophy… In 97/98 probably Sam had the Clark Gable mustache…
