The news that Crysencio Summerville has refused an operation and could be out for the remainder of the season has confused many.

Just nine days ago the 23-year-old Hammer published a video of himself in South America working out in the gym lifting weights, jumping and running at speed with the caption reset, restart and refocus. The video indicated he was on the road to recovery and showed no sign of injury in the social media post.

This morning came the news via EX that the player had refused an operation recommended by club medical experts.

Next came the Claret and Hugh Exclusive that Summerville could be out for the remainder of the season and concerns that if a decision on an operation is delayed he could miss out on the pre-season and the start of next season.

Something doesn’t quite add up and it appears that the player was sending a message via social media to says he can recover naturally without an operation.

nobody knows your own body better than yourself and if the Lad can do without the operation and recover all the better.

So Summerville himself thinks that he can recover without an operation . If he’s wrong and he breaks down again then Westham are paying for that mistake . Incorrectly handling a medical issue can seriously hamper a career .
