Mystery surrounds online ticket sales

lastminute.com TURNS 15!  West Ham supporters are asking how travel website Lastminute.com were able to advertise West Ham tickets for sale across the whole season.

It seems all nineteen Premier League games at the London Stadium are availabe before they have gone on-sale to Claret members.

Last week, Lastminute.com were freely advertising match tickets across the entire West Ham season.

You could choose up up to 20 tickets at a time for games which are not yet on sale on the official ticketing website.

The tickets were advertised in the upper south tier, blocks  223, 224 and 225 which should be reserved for general sale. When ClaretandHugh highlighted this  to the club over the weekend, the tickets were mysteriously removed from the website within hours and have not re-appeared since.

Claret members have paid £40 each to be first in line for around 5,000 tickets in the south stand which are expected to be offered for general sale for each Premier League match. Each game is expected to go to a ballot which makes the sale on Lastminute, com all the more surprising.

Update:  A West Ham spokesperson said, “Tickets were erroneously advertised on lastminute.com by a prospective club partner. Once West Ham United officials spotted the error it was rectified immediately. There are absolutely no plans to sell West Ham United home tickets via third party providers.”

  1. The club have to make a statement !! This is not right ?

  2. Yeah, I was lucky enough to get a seat in the ballot for the Bournemouth game but will be well cheesed off if I find that after stumping up £40 something is being done behind the scenes to allow other companies to tout our tickets. This box office the first opinions of it are poor, I have a ticket to Domizale, Juventus and Bournemouth games none of which show in my tickets tab, also only have 1 loyalty point for the Domizale game, you try to contact these jokers by email and no one responds which would force me to call them on a premium line which I refuse to do on principle, I also haven’t received my welcome pack which was due to be sent in July have sent 5 emails and no response since the first time I contacted them.
