The Irons have signed Brazilian Nene on a short-term deal until the end of the season with the option of another year.
The news was announced by co chairman David Sullivan’s son Jack on Twitter where he said: “Nene is a WHU player for the rest of the season with option for next.
The 33-year-old former PSG winger scored 36 league joins from Qatari side Al-Gharafa in January 2013 where he netted 20 times in 43 league appearances in two-and-a-half seasons.
He has previously turned out for Mallorca, Celta Vigo and Monaco after moving to Europe from Brazilian club Santos in 2003.
Ahah… Yes sure! I would give him number 10 now that is free…
Haha, yeah Nolan has always reminded me of a brazilian the way he plays with that ‘Samba style’ of his 😉
Why we took a Brazilian when we already have one? Kevin Santos Anthony Nolan, aka Nolaninho.
Well if true that BFS was against this signing he will sit on the bench for the next 13 matches, just look how the sophisticated, flexible manager treated Zarate.Wasnt his signing so he did everything in his power to not play him or try to prove the guy wasnt good enough for his team.Nene seems like Sullivans choice,if this is the case Nene has no chance of having any decent game time.Samasaurus will make sure of that.
Think he’s to lightweight for us to keep him here next year
still will play second fiddle to the great nolan
