New competition for Serie A ace

|

Juventus are monitoring Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior, a player who has also been heavily linked with West Ham.

The Hammers were reported to have tabled a bid for the player in the summer transfer window, but the Italian side rejected the offer.

They were said to be open to letting him leave, but on the condition that he needed to return to the club on loan for the remainder of the season.

That didn’t work for the Irons, so Kiwior has subsequently remained with Spezia.

Calciomercato, via Inside Futbol, are reporting that Juve are very interested in doing a deal for Kiwior ahead of the January transfer window.

He has won four caps for Poland at the age of 22 and has also made a total of 33 appearances for the Italian club.

It remains to be seen if the Irons make another move for Kiwior in January but even if they do, it seems there are plenty of other clubs eyeing up a deal.
