New deal Bowen can become a Hammers legend

The news that Jarrod Bowen has agreed to sing a new deal at West Ham couldn’t be better timed. Following the protracted departure of Declan Rice, the last thing the club needed was another player leaving.

We’ve made a tremendous start to the season, however the recent news of a contract impasse has been a concern. Only last week the Hammers sources voiced their concerns that Bowen was stalling on a new contract. The club and the players representative had been negotiating for months, with no sign of an agreement.

A new deal for Bowen has been agreed

To give Bowen his credit, he has remained focused on his football and in fine form. In fact, it could be argued the winger is enjoying the best form of his career. A new long-tern contract would see the player commit his best years to the club. Such a move would certainly make him a West Ham legend.

Bowen scored the winning goal in the Conference League final so he’s well on the way to legendary status. But by signing on the dotted line for a new deal, he’ll no doubt go on and break records at West Ham.

A winner tomorrow against Newcastle and a goal for England would be the icing on the cake. COYI

I never thought for one minute that Bowen might be leaving West Ham in a near future transfer window and I’m not certain that Paqueta will be going soon either. Those two, plus Kudus can be a real attacking force in the years to come.
