New hope for Nasri and Lanzini

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has told reporters that Lanzini and Nasri maybe in the matchday squad list for Friday.  The gaffer didn’t mention whether Fabian Balbuena is likely to be in the first team squad or not.
Speaking at Rush Green during his pre-match press conference Pellegrini told the media “For this game we have the squad which played most of the games and we will have the squad list on Thursday, and maybe Lanzini and Nasri can be included on that squad list. They worked not only today but they worked the complete week. We will talk to the medical staff about whether we can use them.
“All four playmakers in our squad were injured, which is always difficult, so the return of both of them injects more quality into the squad. We will analyse Jack Wilshere next week, then we will be more clear about his future.”

On Lanzini coming back from injury Pellegrini added: “He is coming back from a long injury so we will decide the best way for him to return to the team. He is a player who gives you different things, he is very fast and a very technical player.Last season Marko Arnautovic had a good season and a lot of that was down to Manuel providing him with good passes and good assists.”

  1. Is he counting yarmolenko as the 4th playmaker or am I missing someone from my thoughts?

  2. Can’t wait to get this season over with . As usual we are looking forward to the next season.
But maybe with more positivity & purpose than previous seasons . With all the tools that should be available for 2019/20 a European challenge is not a pipe dream,,,,, or at least shouldn’t be .
