New Irons line-up taking shape!

|

payetAndy Carroll’s chances of becoming a regular first team starter – even when fit – look no better and perhaps worse than any other player – as Slaven Bilic goes about the task of bulding his new West Ham., a regular front two

Even though it’s being predicted that the £17 million signing is likely to be ready for the start of the Premier League season those close to the manager – and aware of the way he likes to play – reckon that Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia will be his preferred pairing.

ObiangIndeed a regular front two will be a welcome move to a fanbase that’s been screaming out for it and the manager looks likely to put new £10 million signing, Dimitri Payet, in behind them two as a major playmaking presence.

With a new central defender being hunted and word that the manager also wants a new attacking midfielder, plus of course a  right back it’s impossible to name his first starting line up with entire accuracy.

But it’s likely he will play an orthodox four at the back with Song – assuming the transfer goes through – sat in front with Kouyate and Obiang in advanced midfield roles ready to join the offensive motion whilst being fully capable of defensive duties.

(4-3-1-2) AN Other (probably Jenkinson), Reid, An Other, Cresswell; Song; Obiang, Kouyate; Payet; Sakho and Valencia.

Spoonie I’m loving the rants mate and to be honest your pretty well spot on, noble ain’t got a God given right to play but neither have the others but we’ve finally got a manager who will players on form not just simply because they sucked on the hippos teet. You need to be careful though Spoonie you’ll be hunted down by the opinion police and the all knowing so called intellectuals…. Keep on ranting though mate funny as ****

Can’t stand pork pies unless of course you picked up a nice recipe anywhere lol

          • GW says:

If I told you Quick I’d be classed as obsessive but rumour has it that the ” Be careful what you wish for” meeting tomorrow night is fully catered ,good old Rolfe has been on buffet duty all day lol

That should go off like a treat seating formations sorted, tactics all done with the list of speakers legal experts followed by health analysts then political gurus with football geniuses finishing off, catering which is a multitude of cakes and extra seats at the back for any wannabes that will never be fully accepted…..sorted lol

Darien must be ****ed not making the team, why would you pick Noble before alfitano or
    Poyet ?
I was hoping when I saw 4231 it was 1 goalkeeper 3 defenders 2 wingers and 4 Forwards
    Now that’s attacking,

I’d say there’s a potential starting XI that Slav would have in mind right now but things will change over the next month or so. It’ll be down to application and attitude and players already on the books may flourish or not be seen too often but the main thing is it’ll be merit based and not due to favouritism.
Hugh says it’s impossible to name his first starting line up with entire accuracy but I beg to differ, there’s a site that has footballing experts that can not only name a current line up but are so ITK can predict a team with players we’re yet to sign. Of course being experts they know the formation and tactics to be used too lol

Really happy about that… All Sam’s pets are on the margins of Slav’s project… This is called karma 😉

Some people are fretting that some of our favorite players like Tomks and Nobes won’t be in the team now. With 50-60 ( hopefully more ) games this season, we need all of our squad. They will all get enough games. Also new players don’t automaticaly take the place of old players. They all have something to prove.

  • sleepswithdafishes says:

It was only a casual fret though… honest

    • ChickenRunner says:

Lol,ok,im glad because i was fretting a little about you fretting 😀

  • sleepswithdafishes says:

That would explain a lot. After being told that Bilic favors a 4-2-3-1, it seemed strange the way the squad was evolving.
It now seems a diamond is going to be the formation, in which case we are building a very strong squad. Now I can put my poor brain back to sleep and stop fretting.

  • ChickenRunner says:

Oh god this will get some of the experts on wpants rocking & rolling with their amazing knowledge that Slav only plays with one upfront, lol

  • coyi1973 says:

Maybe but I see Noble in ahead of Obiang at this stage. No idea why he is being written off

    • essexclarets says:

Really…? Why would the club spend £m’s on a new player & then dump him on the bench & say “welcome to West Ham, oh by the way Mark Noble is in the team before you”
remember we were sh#te the second half of last season & i read that people want near enough the same starting line up come August…

      • Spoonie Spoonlic says:

Its because some ****ing idiots cant get it into their heads that Noble isnt some kind of ****ing god just because he is ‘one of our own’,if there are better players than him on form he doesnt deserve to play.Had enough of people licking Nobles ****ing ass.I dont mean coyi73 but many more who think he has some ****ing divine right to be in the team, its bull****.

        • Radai Lama says:

Good to see you have calmed down today then Spoons, lol, has someone given you a testosterone injection or ten 😀

        • essexclarets says:

Not a big fan then sponnie? 🙂 i was shocked that he was given such a long contract. I can see a few ‘loyal’ players being told they can find another club. Maybe not this window but by january Slav will have had time to have a good look at the squad. Some people have to take off their rose or claret & blue tinted glasses.
a major clear out is needed & not all the fans will be happy with who goes.
