New Liverpool-Bowen update

Liverpool are still interested in signing Jarrod Bowen from the Hammers, according to a new report from the Liverpool Echo.

The Reds have been heavily linked with a potential swoop for the ex-Hull star, who has been in exceptional form for the Irons thus far this season.

Bowen has scored four goals and registered six assists thus far this season and the new report claims that the Reds are continuing to scout the 24-year-old.

However, they are not said to be lining up a move in the January transfer window, suggesting that they could come in with an offer during the summer.

Liverpool are said to have placed Bowen on a shortlist ahead of the summer but any move would have depended on both Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi leaving; the former did but the latter stayed.

They are continuing to scout potential acquisitions, though, with Leeds’ Raphinha another potential target in the summer window.

  1. Why on earth would West Ham sell Bowen ????? Time was put to bed and NOT FOR SALE was said. Other clubs say so. Why dont we??Be rather a bad move to sell him !!!!!!!!!!!

    • Usual media speculation, suspect nothing in it. It’s like the speculation over Origi coming in opposite direction. Why would Liverpool in their busy season want get rid perfectly good players to a main rival ( I liked typing that last bit)
