New name revealed in head of recruitment appointment

|

According to ITK @EXWHUEmployee West Ham could be set to appoint Mike Rigg as the new Hammers head of recruitment in a shake-up of the scouting and player recruitment department.  Ex was speaking at the West Ham Way podcast on Sunday 4th July

For almost three years Rigg has been the Technical Director of Burnley football club but that could be about to change with one report suggesting he is already on gardening leave. Before that, he was Chief Football Officer at Fulham, Head of talent management at the FA,  Technical director at QPR and Manchester City, Chief Scout at Blackburn Rovers, Academy Manager at Sheffield Wednesday and Technical director for Wales.

Last week it was announced that David Moyes junior is to join the scouting department leaving his role at Wasserman as a football agent and a number of further appointments are expected as Moyes Senior looks to bolster the player recruitment team.
