New West Ham Kit Leaked!

Well, it seems to happen every summer, so why should this year be any different? West Ham’s new kit has been leaked and as ever it has caused something of a stir.

Now I must confess to being less concerned than most about how our new kit looks each season. In fact, I’m so old and grumpy that I’m yet to adjust to the reality that a kit requires changing every year.

Nonetheless, here it is . . . a grainy leaked picture of an unspectacular West Ham away shirt for the 2024/2025 season.

The green blob on the sleeve is a sponsor change from JD Sports to Quickbooks which looks ridiculous on what seems to be a black kit with pink edging.

For some reason the logo from shirt manufacturer Umbro appears to have been coloured in by a child holding a pink sharpie pen to match the all new black and pink Hammers crest.

The black material on the shirt itself apparently has the Church of St Mary-le-Bow background imprinted, but if you can pick that out, then you have better eyes than me.

The big official kit reveal is in late July and Claret & Hugh will happily go out on a limb and guess the home kit will be claret & blue with a green blob on the sleeve.

Love a black shirt but gold or silver instead of red would have been so much better ..

Rubbish looking kit. I won’t even get the fake one from Turkey.

What happened with betting companies being banned from being shirt sponsors? I think Betway brings in about 10 million in revenue.

The Umbro logo with the red ā€œdiamondā€ is their centenary logo. 1924-2024.

The all black with gold badge a few years back was the best one.

I actually think the pink and white on the black look really good, and as for the green blob, if that’s the colour of our sponsor’s logo there’s not really much that Umbro or West Ham can do about it. I really like the colours and will probably buy one.

Always liked black kits (with gold), but the badge looks awful on this one.
