Newcastle and Man Utd do Hammers a favour

|

PL-Twitter-Icon_400x400Newcastle’s fight to stay in the Premier League did the Hammers a favor today after the Magpies came back from two nil down at half  time to take Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at full time.

Liverpool had a game in hand on West Ham before today and they were just two points behind us before kick off. A win over struggling Newcastle would have leap-frogged them into sixth place with the Hammers dropping down the seventh spot.

However, two goals in the second half from Cisse and Colback meant Liverpool had to settle for a single point and they remain in seventh place just one point and one goal difference away from West Ham. Both the Hammers and Liverpool

Both the Hammers and Liverpool UEFA LEaguenow have four games remaining. Liverpool must still face Swansea, Watford, Chelsea and West Brom while West Ham face West Brom, Swansea, Manchester United and Stoke. We might be hoping that Chelsea do us a favor too!

Meanwhile, Manchester United progressed to through to the FA Cup final at Wembley after a dramatic last-second winner by Martial against Everton. Should they go on to win the FA Cup and finish above West Ham in the league, the Europa league places are likely to go down to seventh place. While we hope to qualify for Europe in fifth or sixth position in the Premier League it would be good to know that seventh place is there if needed. Let’s hope Manchester United win the cup!

Can’t see arse or city slipping up ! The mancs have done a deal with the devil ? They keep getting results that they shouldn’t ! It was always , I suppose gonna fall on us beating the jammy barstuards under the lights , which is for me more important for the history book .to win all our games is possible , 5th would do me , topping the mancs and the scouse !!
Let’s face it , we should have at least 8 points more than we’ve got , its never been in our hands really , even more proof of that was aguero goal v the Geordie ? I feel cheated and bitter . It won’t go away ,!!
So 5th will have to be our goal .
    Fingers crossed .

I already posted that on here during the last five minutes of the game. Also posted a week ago the fact that it is a real possibility our season”s final position will depend on the MU game and GD.

I’m rooting for Sunderland tomorrow . After Newcastle gave us a little help today it is down to us to get 12 points from the our last 4 games starting with the away game to West Brom . It won’t be easy . At home to Man Utd is Huge and could be the defining game in our bid for Europe . Reckon we need to chuck a few banana skins at Arsenal and Man Utd . Imagine finishing 4th on the last day of the season ” on goal difference ” , Wow .
