Newcastle news no help to Hammers

Moyes has Coufal decision to make

Unsurprisingly maybe the Hammers look almost 100 per cent certain to be facing the often potent threat of Newcastle left winger Allan Saint Maxim down the left side tomorrow (Sat).

There was the usual smoke and mirrors that the winger may miss the game after being seen hobbling in the match against Aston Villa.

But it seems from reports coming out of the north east that he is more than likely to be available although the important Kieron Trippier is definitely out with a fracture in his foot.

Maxim’s absence however presents David Moyes with a selection issuer at right back where Vladi Coufal was run ragged at times by Harvey Baines at Leicester City last weekend.

And it remains to be seen whether he will start or the manager offers the job to Ryan Fredericks – who did absolutely nothing wrong when he arrived on the pitch as a sub – or Ben Johnson

  1. Moyes might double up on the left side, as he did when closing down Grealish against Villa. Diop deserves to start, Zouma is better players, Daws undroppable so why not play 5 at the back here?
