Newcastle shock… again!

Newcastle are being linked with a move to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea and we have to say that we are getting rather tired of reporting that they are chasing our targets!

The Magpies have reportedly held an interest in signing Alphonse Areola, asking if they could take him from PSG, while they also made a late attempt to snatch Nayef Aguerd from under our noses.

And it now seems that they are eyeing up the striker that David Moyes wants this summer.

We have reported that there is interest from the Hammers in signing Broja and there is a willingness to go to £30m.

But the Northern Echo now reports that the Magpies have made an enquiry to sign Broja, asking about his availability.

The Albania international went on loan to Southampton last season and scored nine goals but it remains to be seen if Chelsea want to give him a chance.

Newcastle are also trying to sign Reims’ Hugo Ekitike but have been frustrated in their pursuit thus far.
