No fan zone for the ECL Final

West Ham will not be laying on a fan zone in Queen Elizabeth Park for the Europa Conference League

There were early exploratory talks about either using the London Stadium or the London Marathon Community track next to the Club store.

According to the website 6foot2, The London Stadium was ruled out because of the summer event schedule and the ridiculous amount  of money that would be demanded by the London Legacy Development Corporation stadium landlords.

The public body demands massive fees for anything not already in the 2013 concessionaire agreement.

Plans to create a fan zone on the community park were also abandoned for various reasons.

The club believe many supporters will watching in pubs and from home and any fan zone event would need to limited and ticketed as well policed with safety stewards.

West Ham may participate in the creation of a fan zone in Prague to keep the majority of fans without tickets in one place.

WH should ask Dagenham & Redbridge if they could set a fan zone up at their ground with acceptable remuneration.
