No French trip for Diarra and Maiga

DiarraModibo Maiga and Alou Diarra appear to have been shown   they have no West Ham future!

Both players have been excluded from the first team squad which is currently involved at a pre-season training camp in the Evian Valley.

And ClaretandHugh understands that neither player will be involved in any first team duties during the new season.

Instead the club are ready to let either of them out on extended loan deals or permanent transfers for next to nothing.

Maiga has been one of the biggest flops the club has had on its hands and Diarra has been sidelined since a fall out between himself and the manager.

Given that the former France international is in the last year of his contract, it could even be the club may eventually consider coming to a termination agreement.

In the meantime both players now know their situation and their agents will be working hard to get them moves.

A well trusted West Ham source told ClaretandHugh: “Neither player is in France with the first team.”

And he added that it would be clear to both of them that they would know exactly where they stood.”

“They will have got the message for sure. It’s quite apparent from they are no longer a part of things.”
