No Hammers hope on free agent

|

Jarrod Bowen – possible front man

Any hopes – and there may have been none – that West Ham would get a new centre forward on board as a free agent look dead in the water.

With only Michail Antonio and Dannny Ings seen as being regular central front men, many believed that David Moyes may well decide to bring in another with the latter linked to Everton.

However,Toffees boss Sean Dyche didn’t move to him and he remains on board with Moyes having also declared that  he would readily use Jarrod Bowen in the role if that was required.

It is also clear –  at  Contracts expiring | Transfermarkt there is not a single option that would suit the club at his stage of its development anyway.

The vast majority are playing in the MLS league with transfer fees of around £6 million or less on their heads – not the type of players we should be thinking about at this point in Hammers time.

Thus we will either see Bowen up top of required in Antonio’s or Moyes revert to what appears to be his favourite system of playing with a false nine – possibly Kudus.
