No immediate Moyes danger

Hughie Southon reports latest on Moyes danger

West Ham boss David Moyes is in no immediate danger of being sacked  but his chances of landing a  new deal  is highly unlikely. That’s the reaction we are getting from inside the club and it seems talkSPORT have come to the same conclusion.

After recent results there has been heavy speculation that he could be out  within days or a few weeks but club reaction to us was that whilst a new deal seems very unlikely, he could stay on until the end of the season unless things continue to go dramatically wrong.

The club are reluctant to put a caretaker in charge and no future boss would join without a two or three year deal being placed in from of them.

Our source explained: “As a result we may stick and hope things – as we hope and believe – things  improve over the next few weeks.”

Meanwhile, talkSPORT claim on their website at talkSPORT.com that the manager is no imminent danger of being sacked. It adds a new contract is unlikely to be offered when his current deal expires.
