West-Ham-Upton-ParkWest Ham will NOT provide any LIVE TV coverage this evening as the Hammers face Birkirkara in the Europa League second round qualifier at the Boleyn Ground in front of 31,000 fans.

The club have confirmed that club Media Partner BBC London will be providing live audio commentary from Phil Parry, who will be joined by former Hammer John Moncur.

The game will be broadcast live on BBC Radio London on 94.9FM and online at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_london

West Ham TV will provide highlights after the match.

Claret and Hugh will be providing text updates later this evening during the match to get Hammers fans who can’t make the match up to date.

  1. Ah **** sake

  2. I think this is a very selfish decision because not everyone can attend the game due to holidays. It is clear the club is doing this to ensure the game has a good attendance, but the ticket prices resolved this anyway.

Disappointed with this decision and I feel sorry for all our fans worldwide.

  3. If someone has a smart phone they could stream it live, would be the same quaility as last time 🙂

  4. Bad call, whats the point of showing the Lusitans game but then not bothering with this one.D*ckheads.

  5. To be fair to them they experienced technical problems last time with the website crashing.

I guess they are dammed if they do and the website crashes again and dammed if they don’t and decide not to risk it.

Personally I would have sold the TV rights to Premier Sports in the same way the Maltese club did.

    • When the website crashed two weeks ago, I still found another way to view it!! This really isn’t good enough.

  6. Screw Premier Sports.Sky & Bt Sports already get enough out of me without those mugs robbing me as well, lol 😀

  7. Birkirkara – wasn’t that a line from Team America, World Police?

  8. Thanks Sean I will try it other wise it’s the radio for me,
