No-one should pay a penny to watch Spurs

As part of BBC Sport Relief,  James Corden’s character ‘Smithy’ pokes fun at Spurs and asks why anyone would pay money to watch Tottenham as he runs for FIFA president. The celebrity West Ham fan also enlists the help of Hammers legend Geoff Hurst who also features in the sketch.

Smithy says:“I heard a story the other day where a ticket to watch Tottenham was seventy five quid, seventy five quid to watch Tottenham, Tottenham, no-one should pay a penny to watch Tottenham but that is how ridiculous it’s got!”

Actually 2,928 Spurs fans have paid £60 each to watch West Ham v Spurs for the last night ever at the Boleyn ground.
