No way back for Maiga!

modibomaigaWest Ham United have tonight confirmed there is no clause in the Modibo Maiga’s loan deal for him to return to Upton Park before the end of this season.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has intimated strongly that the on loan Hammers striker is way out of his thinking with the player failing to make any impact at Loftus Road.

That sparked speculation that the front man could be on his way back to the Boleyn before the end of the current campaign.

But a highly placed Hammers source revealed: “There’s no chance of that. It’s a deal until the end of the season and Modibo certainly won’t be back before then.”

The two clubs are sharing the players £30,000 a week wages on a fifty fifty split.
