Nobes sends final message: Irons bond won’t be broken

Even now just a couple of weeks on it seem extraordinary to know that we will never see Mark Noble in a competitive game for the Hammers again.

For many of us he has been part of our lives for a very long time and those who bid him farewell after the game against Manchester City will never forget it.

He is part of a dying – if not dead – breed who spent their entire careers at one club and we were so proud of that and him.

He too seems to be having some problems coming to terms with the fact that he has bid us farewell as a player but hopefully he has assured us he will be back.

Now he has issued his final words on the goodbye which left us all so emotional at the final home game of the season.

And he has sent a message to us all which we are pleased and proud to publish here,
